About this tour

This tour we provide for who would love to experience about art culture of bali in half day. First stop we will see the Barong Dance Performance on special stage. Then when the finish the show we continue to visit traditional batik weaving, silver jewelry making process, wood carving and art painting. The last stop before we back to the hotel, we will stop to taste some coffee and tea at bali coffee plantation with special offer Luwak coffee. Barong Dance

Barong is a panther-like creature and character in the Balinese mythology of Bali, Indonesia. He is the king of the spirits, leader of the hosts of good, and enemy of Rangda, the demon queen and mother of all spirit guarders in the mythological traditions of Bali. The battle between Barong and Rangda is featured in the Barong dance to represent the eternal battle between good and evil. The Barong is the magical protector of Balinese villages. As & lord of the forest with fantastic fanged mask and long mane, he is the opponent of Rangda the witch, who rules over the spirits of darkness, in the never ending fight between good and evil. During the Galungan Kuningan festivals, the Barong (there are many types, including barong ket, barong macan, and barong bangkal) wanders from door to door (nglawang) cleansing the territory of evil influences.
